Help & Guide

Everything you need to get the most out of Cadence — from your first ingested message to automated daily briefings.

Getting started

1

Ingest a message

From the Dashboard, open "Ingest a message" and paste an email, DM, or upload a voicemail. Cadence's AI extracts the meeting details automatically.

2

Review conflicts

New events that overlap your calendar (including Google Calendar meetings) are flagged in the Pending Queue for you to approve or reject.

3

Read your daily brief

Each morning Cadence summarizes your day, pending decisions, and conflicts on the Daily Brief page.

4

Connect Google Calendar

In Settings, connect Google Calendar so Cadence can see your existing meetings and detect real conflicts.

5

Set your rules

Add VIP auto-approvals or blacklist senders and sensitive keywords in Rules to control how messages are handled.

Features

Email ingestion

Paste an email body and sender. Cadence reads the scheduling language, resolves timezones to UTC, and creates a calendar event with a confidence score.

DM ingestion

Direct messages work the same way — drop in the message and Cadence extracts the meeting, participants, and any links.

Voicemail transcription

Upload an audio file. Cadence transcribes it, then extracts the event from the transcript — no typing required.

Smart buffer time

Cadence automatically adds prep and travel buffer around meetings that are too close together, based on the event category.

Draft replies

In any event dossier, generate a friendly RSVP draft or apply a saved template (Confirm, Reschedule, custom) with one click.

Conflict detection

New events are checked against your existing Cadence events and your connected Google Calendar for overlaps.
